You will design and lead field-tested adoption and engagement approaches that help farmers clearly understand program value, build trust, and confidently choose to enroll. This is a field-facing role at the intersection of Field operations, behavior change, and communication, turning farmer insights into practical, scalable adoption solutions.
Responsibilities
- Farmer-Centered Adoption Design & Execution
- Design and lead farmer-centered adoption approaches that drive enrollment and trust.
- Translate program offerings into simple, compelling value propositions grounded in farmers' realities, constraints, and priorities.
- Design and coordinate community engagement and mobilization approaches that improve turnout, understanding, and informed decision-making.
- Develop practical farmer-facing messaging tools and ensure consistent, high-quality delivery.
- Spend time in the field observing farmer interactions, identifying breakdowns in understanding, trust, or motivation, and working with field team to adjust delivery, sequencing, and emphasis.
- Continuously refine adoption approaches using farmer feedback, enrollment outcomes, and field observation.
- Adoption Data Analysis & Learning
- Review weekly adoption and enrollment data to identify bottlenecks and drop-off points.
- Combine data with field insight to recommend practical improvements to adoption execution.
- Produce clear, field-relevant adoption post-mortems that highlight what worked, what didn't, and why, grounded in farmer realities.
- Field Team Coaching
- Coach Field Directors and Field Officers on how to communicate value, not just deliver information.
- Strengthen Field Officers' confidence in answering farmer questions and building long-term trust.
- Support Field Directors to plan, monitor, and troubleshoot weekly adoption activities.
- Multi-Channel Farmer Communication
- Shape how messaging shows up across community meetings, radio, SMS, and FO conversations.
- Work closely with Communications to ensure mass media efforts reinforce and support field engagement
- Help sequence and time messages to support farmer adoption and enrollment.
- Cross-functional Collaboration
- Social Behavior Change (SBC): Work closely with the SBC Senior Coordinator to apply behavior-informed insights to adoption and engagement execution, while keeping ownership of field rollout and delivery.
- Government Relations: Partner with Government Relations to align local leader engagement with adoption and community buy-in efforts.
- Communications: Collaborate on the testing and rollout of farmer communication approaches across radio, SMS, and community platforms.

Qualifications
- Knowledge of community engagement, marketing, or social behavior change in rural settings.
- 3+ years of experience in sales, marketing, or adoption-focused roles within the development or social impact sector.
- Ability to design farmer-centered communication and outreach strategies
- Moderate data analysis (Google Sheets, dashboards) and ability to interpret adoption trends and translate insights into field actions.
- Experience designing or executing multi-channel marketing campaigns. Could include field activations, SMS, radio, community engagement.
- Strong communication skills.
- Coaching and facilitation skills to build field officers and field directors marketing capacity. (Nice to have)
