REQUEST FOR QUOTATIONS OF MILK CHILLER TANKS ASSESSMENT AND REPAIR SERVICES

Job Description

Heifer International Zambia is a branch office of Heifer Project International that works with resource-limited households and communities with a desire to improve their lives through community development activities such as agricultural and livestock production as well as organizational and agribusiness development. Scope of Work

Heifer International Zambia is requesting quotations from registered firms and qualified refrigeration companies to submit quotations for the assessment and repair of milk chiller tanks. The scope of work includes:

• Inspection & Assessment: Thorough evaluation of the current condition of milk chiller tanks, identifying mechanical, electrical, and structural issues.
• Repairs & Servicing: Provide detailed repair solutions, including replacement of faulty parts, welding, sealing, calibration, and testing to ensure optimal performance.
• Preventive Maintenance Recommendations: Suggest measures to enhance the durability and efficiency of the tanks.
• Cost Breakdown: Itemized quotation covering labor, parts, and any additional charges.

Quotation Requirements

The quotations must meet the following requirements:

• Validity period of at least 30 days.
• Estimated timeline for completion of assessment and repairs.
• Warranty terms for parts and services provided.
• Company profile and references for similar work completed.

Submission Requirements

Prospective bidders are required to submit the following:

• Company Profile.
• Registration/Incorporation Certificate from PACRA or Registrar of Societies.
• Evidence of similar past or completed or ongoing delivery works in the last 3 years.
• Tax Clearance Certificates from ZRA for the last two (2) years for non-cooperatives.
• Terms of payments.
