Richkays Innovations & Services is seeking a motivated and technically skilled IT Support Technician to join our growing IT Services team. The successful candidate will assist in supporting client IT infrastructure, including servers, cloud systems, user devices, and network equipment.
This role offers an excellent opportunity for a young IT professional to gain practical experience in enterprise IT systems, cloud services, and managed IT support.
Key Responsibilities
- IT Support & Troubleshooting
- Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and software applications
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues
- Install and configure operating systems and business applications
- System Administration Support
- Assist in managing Windows Server environments
- Support Active Directory user and device management
- Monitor system performance and assist with system updates
- Microsoft 365 & Cloud Services
- Support Microsoft 365 user account administration
- Assist with email configuration and cloud storage access
- Monitor cloud backup systems
- Network & Infrastructure Support
- Assist in configuring routers, switches, and wireless networks
- Support installation and maintenance of network printers
- Assist with network troubleshooting
- Security & Maintenance
- Monitor endpoint security systems (antivirus)
- Assist with backup monitoring and system security checks
- Conduct routine preventive maintenance
Minimum Qualifications
- Applicants should have one of the following:
- Diploma or Degree in:
- Information Technology
- Computer Science
- Information Systems
- OR
- Relevant certifications such as:
- CompTIA A+
- CompTIA Network+
- Microsoft Certifications (advantage)
Experience Requirements
- 1–3 years experience in IT support or system administration
- Experience supporting users in a business environment
- Knowledge of computer hardware and networking basics
- Recent graduates with strong technical skills are encouraged to apply.
Technical Skills Required
- Candidates should have working knowledge of:
- Windows Operating Systems
- Computer hardware troubleshooting
- Basic networking (LAN/Wi-Fi)
- Microsoft Office / Microsoft 365
- Printer configuration and troubleshooting
- Knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and cloud platforms is an added advantage.
