Our Client, a leading institution in the banking and financial sector, is seeking a highly qualified, experienced, and results-oriented professional to fill the position of Director – Corporate Banking. This senior leadership role offers an excellent opportunity to drive business growth, enhance profitability, and provide strategic direction for the Corporate and Premium Banking segments, contributing meaningfully to the overall success of the institution.
To coordinate and manage Corporate and Premium client segments in order to deliver sustainable business growth, enhance profitability, and drive the design and implementation of effective client acquisition, engagement, and retention strategies.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement client value propositions for Corporate and Premium segments.
- Drive portfolio growth through increased customer acquisition, deposit mobilization, and loan book expansion.
- Ensure efficient and profitable management of loans and advances portfolios while maintaining diversification.
- Lead sales initiatives to enhance revenue growth and minimize revenue leakage.
- Monitor and manage performance of teams, fostering a strong sales and performance culture.
- Develop and manage budgets, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and financial targets.
- Oversee service delivery standards across the network to ensure exceptional customer experience.
- Lead and develop Relationship and Sales teams to achieve operational excellence and business growth.
Requirements
- Full Grade 12 School Certificate with 5 ‘O’ Levels.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Banking and Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Accountancy, or related field.
- A Master’s Degree in Business Administration or related field will be an added advantage.
- Minimum of ten (10) years’ relevant experience, with a strong bias towards banking and people management at senior management level.
- Proven experience in portfolio management, sales leadership, and strategic business development.
- Strong leadership, analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
