Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair faults on diesel engines, transmissions, and related vehicle systems. Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on tractors, trailers, heavy-duty trucks, and earth-moving equipment. Perform repairs on pneumatic, hydraulic, and turbocharged engine systems to manufacturer standards. Respond to and recover breakdown vehicles to minimize operational downtime. Conduct routine inspections and identify potential mechanical issues before they result in equipment failure. Ensure all repairs are completed within approved timelines and accurately record repair activities. Test vehicles and equipment after repairs to confirm functionality, safety, and performance standards. Maintain accurate maintenance records, service reports, and equipment history. Ensure compliance with workshop safety procedures, environmental standards, and quality requirements.
