Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Construction Manager to join our team in Zambia. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the construction of our mining projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the construction of mining projects, including planning, execution, and completion
- Ensure that all construction activities are carried out in accordance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Coordinate with various stakeholders, including contractors, suppliers, and government agencies
- Monitor and control project costs, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
- Ensure that all construction activities are carried out in a safe and environmentally responsible manner
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 10 years of experience in construction management, preferably in the mining industry
- Proven track record of managing large-scale construction projects
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
