About Us: Tsebo Facilities Solutions is looking for a Building Manager who is responsible for the safe, efficient and compliant operation of client facilities, ensuring optimal asset performance, exceptional service delivery and a positive client experience. The role leads maintenance teams, manages contractors and budgets, ensures statutory compliance and drives continuous improvement to support client satisfaction, operational excellence and business sustainability. Duties & Responsibilities

  • Building infrastructure operates with maximum reliability and availability.
  • Maintenance activities consistently achieve contractual SLA requirements.
  • Legal and statutory compliance is maintained at all times.
  • Maintenance expenditure is controlled within approved budgets.
  • Asset lifecycle performance is continuously improved.
  • Client satisfaction and retention targets are achieved.
  • SHEQ performance standards are consistently met.
  • Technical teams operate effectively and productively.
  • Sustainability initiatives generate measurable business value.
  • Monitor and control maintenance expenditure against approved budgets.
  • Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives.
  • Support contract profitability through effective resource utilisation.
  • Validate procurement requirements and contractor costs.
  • Prepare business cases supporting CAPEX investment decisions.
  • Monitor financial risks and implement mitigating actions.

Skills and Competencies

  • Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
  • Computer-Aided Facilities Management Systems (CAFM)
  • Maintenance and asset analytics
  • Microsoft Excel (Intermediate to Advanced)
  • Power BI reporting
  • Microsoft Teams and SharePoint
  • Digital work-order management systems
  • Data-driven decision making and reporting.

Qualifications

  • Qualifications National Diploma or Degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Building Services, Property Management or a related field.
  • Computer literacy (Microsoft Office Suite).
  • Experience Minimum 5–7 years' experience in Facilities or Building Management.
  • Minimum 3 years in a supervisory or management position.
  • Experience managing contractors and outsourced service providers.
  • Experience managing operational and maintenance budgets.
  • Experience working within SLA-driven service environments.
  • Proven client relationship management experience.
