(Animal Husbandry Officer Chinese Speaking HSK 4)

Job Description

An Animal Husbandry officer is responsible for the daily care, feeding, breeding, and overall health management of livestock or other animals. They monitor behavior, ensure proper nutrition, manage housing sanitation, assist with births, and implement disease prevention protocols to optimize welfare and productivity. The officer is also responsible for inspecting livestock facilities, farms, and abattoirs to ensure compliance with health and welfare regulations, implementing and monitoring vaccination, disease prevention, and eradication programs, overseeing and improving the health, welfare, and productivity of farm animals, and assisting with breeding, feeding, and waste management practices to optimize production.

Requirements

• a degree in Animal Science, Veterinary Science, Agriculture, or a related field, with a Chinese university degree being an added advantage
• Chinese language proficiency at HSK 4 or above
• have studied in China
• 2 to 3 years of work experience
• 3 traceable references
